I lost my mom on October 11 and before she passed I have heard of how great Paquelet is and I was amazed on how above and beyond they helped me make this service to honor not just my mom, but also my dad who died in April of this year. This is the worst year of my life, but I will forever be thankful for Paquelet and making sure that my parents get honored with love just as much as they did with me and the rest of my family and friends. As a funeral director from another state, I knew just what to look for when I found myself in need of services. I sought out a family-owned funeral home to help me honor my father who passed away just before Christmas. Even before his passing, my initial interaction with Rachel Barker assured me that I had found the right place. Rachel was immediately compassionate and sympathetic. As we moved into the planning stages, she remained available, responsible, and flexible -making adjustments to our travel schedules allowing our family the closure needed. She went above and beyond the call of duty. From the kindness of those who picked my dad up from hospice to David, the music technician, each team member played a part in revering and creating a beautiful celebration of my dad’s life. Mrs. Barker along with the entire team was so kind and compassionate while taking care of my father after his passing. Each step of the process was done with grace. Not only did they take care of my father but a week later showed the same compassion when my beloved dog passed as well. The urn and paw prints were so very special! Thank you!
